Here are some of the key steps that we take when opening up a pool:
Remove the cover
The first step in opening up a pool is to remove the cover. Our team will carefully remove the cover and store it away for the season in your shed or garage.
*Additional charge will be assessed for swimming pools with rock features, spill over spas and pools and larger then 20x40. Please call for pricing.
Inspect the pool and equipment
Next, we re-assemble all filtration equipment, chlorinators and pumps. We'll make sure everything is running properly and efficiently. We'll also show you how to operate the system if you're not familiar with it.
Install and Inspect
Next, we'll re-install all ladders, handrails and diving boards. We will also inspect the structural integrity of these items as well.
Balance the water chemistry
We will add Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.) if applicable to the filter and also add an initial shock treatment and algaecide treatment.
Final Assessment
And last, we will do a final assessment of the swimming pool and recommend any services or repairs that might be needed.
